Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is under fire again, this time for lying about a ham sandwich he ate that was sent to him by an outspoken critic.
Evidence that he actually ate the sandwich was discovered in recent text messages sent to an unidentified woman via yet another SkyTel pager.
If true this would seem to contradict the Mayor's previous comments that he would never eat sandwiches made from so-called 'racist bread' like ciabatta.
An excerpt of the message reads: "That sammich was as good as the time I did you in the butt in Atlanta." The Georgia Chamber of Commerce had no comment....
