	bus 8 to the airport $5. southwest to houston to phoenix $230. rental car $50. decaf $2. slept in the rental car close enough to a mcdonalds to have wifi. taxi to the clinic, $20, got there right on


	time. i'm alternatate #3, so i probably won't get in, and quit a high paying job for nothing. i don't regret my decision.


	if i end up as an alternate, it'll give me a boost up to get into the next study.maybe they'll even do this one again. and 3 is a low number, i could end up getting in.


	right now they have me locked in a hotel room doing a 2 day quarantine. the throat swab was far less painful this time. they should have been by with lunch by now.


	i'm reading "the everything store", it's like a biography of a company.well written. i have a few more books about amazon i planned to read while here.


	my one share of tesla is up $1000 now.
