did nothing. reddit and youtube.
day 7: more of the same. i took a long walk, pacing the 150 feet of the clinic 30 or 40 times.hung out on reddit telling aardvark stories.
calculated my gross income this year at 37,400. so i'll need to find some expenses to write off part of that. plus i might work some this fall or do another study.
oh i should take some cle classes while i'm here, i already paid for them. my driver's license will expire before we get out of here, which could be a problem when i try to fly home.
time to change my purple scrubs and maybe shower before dinner. the food here is a little better than at lincoln because more mexican food. us subjects are about 1/2 spanish speakers.

from a thread on reddit: i mostly do medical experiments. i recently worked for wages for 10 weeks at amazon, and earlier this year i washed dishes at a korean restaurant. i do plasma. i rent rooms to hobos. i sign up for bank accounts that give bonuses. i try to recruit people for medical studies. i invested in tesla. i have a couple worthless vacant lots for sale. some years i flip a house. i have a rich relative. i'm trying to write a book for kindle. i have a small recycling business. i'm also a lawyer, but that's more of a hobby.

May I ask what experiment you are partaking in? That sounds like a lot of money. ... ... ... it's at a place called celerion. this one's in phoenix. i usually go to the one in lincoln ne. they have one in leeds uk that i've never been to. if you go screen for a study here, use me as your referrer and i'll send you $100 w/in 30 days of when they pay me. pm me for the password. they are keeping us on site for the whole 42 days instead of sending us home in between parts, to reduce our possible covid exposure. so it pays better than usual. i have done studies at this company before paying from $2000 to $7000. i screened here once for a $30,000 study but didnt get in - my back was too hairy. i usually make between 10-20K a year, and write most of it off as travel expenses. this is my best paying study so far. i quit a job and bought plane tickets just to try to get in. i lucked out. there are about 10 places in the usa that do these kind of gigs. i can be your study broker for 15%, which would be win win for us both, but noone ever seems to want to do that. i have 12 years of trial and error learning how to play this game well. as to the study itself, we take a big orange pill 3 times, one no breakfast, once a light breakfast, once a heavy breakfast. that's called a food effect study. it's for a new cancer medication. i can't go into details.
