There was alot of debate about who should be in the 2000 olympics.

Finally the votes were tallied and they decided Syndey would host the Olympics with China second and Britain third.

So they hosted the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. With the United States coming first with 93 medals and Australia came 4th with 58 medals with over 199 countries participating.
