That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. What's the point of doing that?
For farmers. In the olden days they used to plant crops during the Spring so they needed more daylight, hence daylight savings time.
Why should we support this archaic ritual? No one even really farms anymore. Next they'll want us to use leeches to extract diseases.
Right...yet you and I keep celebrating the solstices, kind of like people have been doing for 3000 years.
