Daedelos watched the birds flying and he thougt how free they were, so he decided to make wings for Icarus and himself. Daedelos and Icarus made the wings from birds feathers and wax.

Then they tied them onto eachother. Daedelos warned his son to be careful when he was flying. If he went too close to the see, me might fall in.

Also, if he went too high in the sky, the heat of the sun, would melt eh was on the wings. Icarus promised to be careful. So they set off for freedom...
