We decided to rent a couple of DVDs and spend the evening on the couch huddled in the warm glow of the laptop screen.

The theme for the evening was mindfuck flicks. We warmed up with The Game, starring Michael Douglas which got the confusion flowing, followed by the tour de force Memento, which still has my head spinning. To make matters worse, I just found the website for Momento http://www.otnemem.com which I'm sure will make my head ache even more.

I haven't seen it, but sometimes rewatching a film is essential. Fight Club was intentionally designed that way, every time I watch it I spot something new, and it WAS relevant to the plot, I just happened to miss it the first time round. So, I suggest that if people tell you to rewatch it, do so, the majority are usually right.

You know, it's one thing to be a troll. But it's entirely a different thing to pretend to be a troll and not do a very good job at it. I can't get annoyed with you because I just can't buy the stupid act. You really need to ask yourself, 'What's my motivation?' Maybe some visualization exercises would help. Imaging that you really are a troll. Picture yourself under a bridge, eating goats and whatnot. What would a real troll do? What would a real troll say?

I say go back to the drawing board and work on it. You've got a good foundation to build on in an effort to become a real hated member of society, but right now you're just at lukewarm annoyance. But damn it, man, don't give up! Keep working at it, and maybe some day we can loathe you for real.
