The main thing during a crisis is to make sure you eat, get some support, get some sleep, and try to do some of your routine activities. It's hard to act normal when you don't feel that way, but the more normal you act, the more normal you'll feel

Moreover, who says God didn't protect us? All things considered, this could have been so much worse. They could have attacked 30 minutes later and gotten more people. They could have destroyed people's homes as well. They could have gotten more planes. They could have hit us with biochem.

I'm not religious, and I'm not an atheist. I am not arrogant enough to hope to speak for what God's intentions are. All I can say is that if God is really the kind of being Falwell and Robertson are describing, fuck him. I don't want any God like that.

Erm, well, I just think of it like this. God destroyed an entire city for being wicked, yet he couldn't smite 18 people for wanting to kill hundreds of thousands of people.
