OOOOOOOO draw me kaddar!

I perfer drawing unique characters people suggest rather than people's forum characters -- one, because I'm not great at "realistic" characters, and two-- because I feel like more people'd be able to use them...

he asked for a mohawk and a blue shirt.

It wasn't exactly what he wanted.

I'm not kidding, I'm really bad at usercharacters.

But I still say generic characters are better than forumusers. I also have a lot more creative freedom with "make a pig" than "take this picture of a pig and turn it into a character", which means I'm having more fun making the characters, and it's not just some boring task. :D

speaking of characters though, I taught my friend to draw using psp, and got him to draw some characters..

The first one was basically tracing a character of mine but adding his own features to it...

And the second he used his own art style...

and actually I think the second one turned out pretty good.

If that's not how you pictured me, then that's okay. As I said, the pic is from High School--14 years ago. However, my younger self fits the "umfumdisi" image better.

In other related news I've got an artist buddy who might be willing to donate some art, or even draw a *few* characters. You can see some of his output here The prospect of being famous on Stripcreator swayed him into saying "Hmm...I'll think about it..."
