I have it on good authority that no archival medium, either existing or envisioned, will even come close to surviving the timespan, much less the stupendous cataclysm caused by the collision of two massive galaxies. George Lucas must face the fact that he and everything he knows or can ever know is due to perish without a trace in just a few ticks of the cosmic clock. In fact, we should all keep this in mind while attempting to enjoy Star Wars.

Since STAR WARS has been broadcast on television, the television waves are still travelling through space and can be received by aliens in other galaxies at any time in the future, even long after our own galaxy has collided with the Andromeda galaxy.

Bah, lets face it for all their flaws the original unedited trilogy were innumerable times better without all the new cgi trickery. Lucas lost all artistic integrity a long time ago. Its like what if Da Vinci had gone back at a later date and decided to make Mona Lisa's Upper Lip hair more prominent. I used to be excited at the prospect of the prequels, now Im not even remotely arsed when the bearded turkey releases the third one. I've still got a quote that sums up lucas for me, it was when a fan went up to him, and said;
"I really admire your work, I especially love THX1138"
to which he replied;
"Why on earth do you like that the best, it made the least money".

Incidently hes re-released that aswell.

No way those cheap alien TVs will be able to pick up such weak transmissions.
