I always wanted to create a website that looks like a real bank - Creduit Suisse Tobor, say. Then you give James there your "details" and casually mention which bank you are with - in the hope he'll try to siphon off your "cash" by going to your site. Then you've got him.

Do each of the boxes contain $38.5 million or is that the total? $1,925,000 is a pretty number, but I'm a pretty greedy person. I didn't know they had computers and email access in refugee camps. As far as investing money, I'm possibly the worst person to talk to about that. I'd just pick a stock that I liked the symbol of and throw it all in. I'm pretty spontaneous, life is too short not to be. I'm anxious to hear about these high tech refugee camps that you seem to have found! Please tell me more!

The latest and greatest. One way to frustrate a scammer is to do exactly the opposite of what they want you to. If they tell you to keep something confidential, tell them you let someone in on the secret. If they say that they must meet you in private, insist that you have to bring a busload of nuns. In this case, I do my best to make a scammer from Amsterdam (who at first claims to be from South Africa) absolutely crazy.

The sad thing is that once Facilities took the sign down (after about 4 or 5 days!) the problem continued. So while everyone got a good laugh, it didn't have the intended effect educational on the offenders.

It may be the Indian programmers on our floor who are the culprits. It has been observed that many of them stand pretty far back. Maybe it is a cultural thing about getting splattered with your own urine. Whatever, the case, my pictograms were lost on them. I need to effectively communicate this "do not pee on the floor" message to someone with a different cultural paradigm.

Maybe if I put up a sign in several languages -- English, Indian, Spanish, Arabic -- It will be broad-based enough that it won't be viewed as racist. If I just put up a sign in Indian I'd be fucked.

"When urinating, please stand close to the urinal and aim for it. Please ensure that your urine goes into the urinal and does not splatter copiously on the floor. Gia posted a similar letter back in June, and I want to show people that it really is a scam. Notice how the dollar amount changed from 38.8 million to 20.5 million. Please pass this along that it is a scam and people should watch out for it. On the flip side of this I did a www.google.com search on James Kofi. Come to find out this person really exist, BUT he is a well known Doctor not only in Africa, but the US.......hmmm makes one wonder doesn't it????? Best Regards, Carie

As someone once said, to make a lie believable, add a little truth. These scammers like to refer to existing news stories of tragedies and events to make themselves seem credible. So they are always the nephnew of a deposed leader, etc.

I am in the midst of baiting what must be the most tenacious scammer ever. He is willing to believe almost anything.

I'll give you an example: My character, Sister Lillian is a FORMER PROSTITUTE and now LEPER NUN who has taken a VOW OF SILENCE. When her is bad her Mother Superior TICKLES her for hours on end. The scammer wanted a payment made in London, so she is assisted by FATHER WESLEY WIL WHEATON CRUSHER, an athiest priest who wants a cut of the money so he can buy an island. The bank manager, BYRAM GREYSTOKE III is trying to blackmail Father Wesley and the scammer.

Meanwhile, with the deal going sour, Mother Superior ANN COULTER was so angry that Sister Lillian had no choice but to fake her death by dressing a homeless woman in her clothes, dousing her in sacremental wine, and immolating her. Lillian had professed her love for the scammer and is now staying with her former pimp, MAXMIMO, until she can raise the money to fly to Lagos and be with her true love.

At the same time, Mother Superior has been persuing the deal in the wake of Lillian's apparent death, but she always seems to get a few digits wrong on the Western Union control number...

This has been going on for two months now.
