I finally read Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse Five" recently. I'm impressed...the guy's a genius. And bunner loaned "Galapagos" to me about 8 months ago, I suppose I should read that next & get it back to him.
I'm also reading the collective poems of Maya Angelou.

The Trial was great. The Castle's my favorite of his though.

Also right now I'm reading Punk Land, Carlton Mellick III's sequel to Satan Burger. Thus far it's a pretty satisfactory sequel.

I still freaking love "Le Petit Prince". I read it in English a few years ago and recently read it in French. It's quite awesome.

One of the greatest books ever written, not to mention, one of the most influential. The procedural style of presenting the prince's journey is reproduced everywhere in great literature and entertainment art. Great stuff. Would be my favorite book intended for children ever written, were it not for Winnie The Pooh.

You should read Exupéry's previous work as well, Wind, Sand, And Stars. It's a different experience, but still extremely cool.

At the moment, I'm taking trade rags {Pro Sound News, PLSN, FOH, Mix} from the mailbox straight to the bin.

I have no time to read.

Anything.

Maybe by March.

Right now I've started reading and rereading all of my D&D sourcebooks for reference, because some friends and I have taken on the lofty goal of creating our own campaign setting. [/dork]

I also found a new Piers Anthony book, yet another Xanth novel by the title of Currant Events. I can read one of those from cover to cover in under an hour, but they're always a fun read while they last.

...Trot and Cap'n Bill were free from anxiety and care. Button-Bright never worried about anything. The Scarecrow, not being able to sleep, looked out of the window and tried to count the stars.
