This is the only gun I currently own (this isn't mine, I didn't feel like dragging it out for a picture)

It's a Marlin .22 rifle. Needs work, but it's usable. The gun I really want is a 1911A1 .45, but that's going to be expensive.

and if you haven't already, you should watch the HBO show Flight of the Conchords to put you in the New Zealand mood. or at least get the posters they show on the show that say things like "New Zealand... not part of Australia" and "New Zealand... don't expect too much and you'll like it."
