Why are you so always defensive of Ranger? I don't want to rate his comics bad because they are not bad. They're just boring. They are too complicated and I don't know the characters or stories so when I see the first panel on the front page there's no point reading the rest because I know I will have no fucking idea what it's about. I want them out of sight but I don't think it's fair to rate them bad just because I don't follow them. I proposed that they be blocked from front page rotation because Ranger doesn't mind if they are and I think they can be enjoyed by too few people to warrant their frequency. I have discussed this with other users including a member of the secret police and the consensus is that Ranger's comics are boring.

I mean just demeaning people like that by giving them the promise of what amounts to five minutes of fame..... It does make one think. Where do pretty people in higher income brackets go to look stupid for the sake of ad revenue? Let's see Fear Factor, The Real World, The Apprentice, The Bachelor (and Bachelorette), Big Brother, Joe Millionaire... Equal and fair treatment is a wonderful thing.

i remember awhile back dcomposed started a thread in comic showcase and posted a shitload of his comics. i went through and read them all but not one of them was even remotely funny enough for me to say "i liked this one." and believe me, by the 30th comic, i was trying to find them funny. i could have gone through and said "this one blows" 34 times, like he's basically doing to Ranger77 in this thread, but unlike dcomposed i can't fool myself into believing that my need to tell someone over and over again that their comics suck is just me being honest

Actually...Ranger77 is getting free publicity. His strips are getting reevaluated, he's gaining more fans and possibly even sympathy votes..and name recognition. Authors pay through the nose to get this kinda publicity.
