I've had sex with a pretty wide scope of women, appearance-wise. I mean: fat, skinny, dumpy, toned, short, tall, titties like an implant ad, flat as Nebraska, face like an angel, square jawed stern, Etc, etc, etc. I can tell you that the first thing that really attracts me to women these days is not having a bug up their ass the size of Utah. Most women are, if you take the time to notice them, either pretty, cute or beautiful. It's how they act, feel about things, react to things, comport and care for themselves and translate that into their appearance. The person behind those eyes is what's going to make you need to get back home to her every chance you get. Ugly women, as far as I'm concerned, are ugly because they're either bitter or hopelessly affected, thoughtless, cruel, and self-absorbed or just plain misandric. Decent, considerate, honest women deserve your respect, admiration and affection, guys. And if you use them for a doormat, fuck you. You deserve some hateful, skanky tart. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but the love is in the heart.

Be nice to each other, boys and girls. Because -if you're very fortunate- you get what you give.

And as far of fear of dying alone: EVERYBODY does alone. It's pretty much a 1:1 ratio. That's what makes spending your life with an idiot of either sex such a sad waste.

I used to be a skinny teenager. Putting on weight, a [u]lot[/u] of weight, in my twenties was quite a nasty shock for me. There are many reasons not to be as overweight as I am, mainly my arteries and my heart, but I have discovered one which strikes at the heart of a man's ego. (This may be a bit gross for some of you - stop reading if you're squeamish!) When men get above a healthy weight and start climbing the obesity trail, one of the smaller spots where fat collects is right above the pubic bone. Fat is squishy, so uh, practically speaking it shouldn't make a difference, but visually... well, every centimetre of fat in that spot reduces your visible length by a centimetre as well.

Pretty upsetting stuff for the average bloke. :)

Another annoying thing about it for me is that I really enjoy being fit, during those rare and brief times when I was. I remember about ten years ago when I was the fittest I have ever been (I was playing a lot of squash, spending some time in the gym, and doing a bit of distance running) I was out at my parents' little farm. A horse was being adjisted on the property, and I decided to go have a look and introduce myself to it. I sprinted the length of two paddocks without really losing my breath, and I thought to myself, "Wow! Being fit is cool!"

Sadly, I then moved interstate, got a succession of desk jobs, and my diet turned to utter shit. Ah well...
