You really don't read, and you don't seem to learn either. What was it about "don't take shit personally" that you didn't understand? You didn't just "crack back" at dcomposed, you pitched a fucking hissy-fit. It's one thing to say that dcomposed's strips suck ass just because they do (and it's actually a worthy passtime... you suck, dcomposed!!!), but it's totally another to tell him is strips are total crap and to get off his high and mighty horse because he hated *one* of your strips. I suppose what I'm saying is that there's a difference between responding by saying "Hey, I guess the master of shit comics would know a someone else's shit comic when he sees it." and the big haughty tirade you launched into. Thick skin is a much valued trait here.

Or hell, if you're convinced that meaningless ribbing wouldn't have saved your ass from getting flamed, you didn't actually have to say anything to him. There were plenty of other people who replied to you saying the same thing in far more tactful terms. If you get your feathers ruffled so easily, just don't get into a pissing contest. Simple.
