It's called "text," and unless you do something, like add emphasis or bold words, it's going to be read as is. Judging from all previous posts of what others are saying, you certainly don't come off "sarcastic." My "rant" wasn't directed at you, but at all the girls and guys in this thread that are discussing this horrible topic. "Valentine's Day" is supposed to be about remembering who it is you love, and spending time with them... not dinner and a blowjob. I admit I thought that at 17, and I imagine that's the general age of some of the posters, but damnit, there's more to life and love than that.

Take my opinion or leave it, I figured some of the females would be happy that a guy would say some of this shit.

Beaz, I know what you mean. But I go so far out of my way for my girlfriend, like a 6 hour drive type of out of the way, and it's basically just to spend money on her. It kinda sucks. Hey, wow. Last Valentine's Day, I spent $25 on candy and gifts, drove 4 hours across two state lines, and then shelled out $40 for dinner and a rental (because, by that time, I was out of money to go to a real theater). Had I not gotten laid, I still would have done all of it all over again. You can't tell me you don't enjoy driving all that distance even a little. If you didn't, you'd dump the [u](noun)[/u].

Guess what, sex isn't everything. Go talk to some older couples who sometimes can't have sex. They still love each other, even if they're only getting it once a week. Because they know that sex doesn't make an adult relationship. Trust, patience, love, etc. do.

True, chicka. I do enjoy being on the road. I wouldn't have taken a road trip to California and back if I didn't. And, I do love my girlfriend. But I also spent about 400 to 500 dollars on gifts, travel, hotel, food, etc., and other stuff. Getting laid was nice, and I totally would have done it regardless. The problem is that I see this girl once every 3 weeks, and I am a needy son of a bitch. I need more than that. She can't accomodate because she's in college and living with a roommate in a dorm. And her roommate's a bitch. I guess I'm just whining, really.
