We just returned from the island... I'd never been there, it's absolutely beautiful!

Bunner RULES! He was able to rent a huge 4 bedroom house for us, we didn't want to leave. James was very gracious and stayed an extra day so we could get Gavin to the airport and get back and enjoy one last day.

The only thing is, we missed Kaufman, but glad to hear he's a decent bloke who stays with his wife to take care of her when needed. And that she's O.K.

Wirthling and wife Lisa are good people too, just as
sucky in person as one would have imagined.

So, DexX is off to Portland, Oregon at 5 a.m. tomorrow.

I got a call from DexX today. I feel like an idiot because I couldn't understand what he was saying for about the first thirty seconds and I thought it was a wrong number.

Finally something clicked in the head and I recognized the word "Billings" and realized that what I was hearing was DexX's softspoken Aussie voice.

He was let off his cattle car for ten minutes somewhere in North Dakota and took the time to call and say that he was on his way. Apparently he'll be in Portland Thursday at 10 in the morning.

I want to make sure he feels at home, so I'm going to take him to the Outback Steakhouse and then we're going to watch all the Crocodile Dundee movies. I even found him a wombat shaped pillow.
