Speaking of severing and disembodied heads... My wife showed me something interesting that she found online. I won't actually post the picture because it's pretty fucking nasty. So follow the link if you're not squeamish.
I think that every driver's license bureau should have this photo around to show everyone who comes in for a motorcycle licence as proof of why it might be a good idea to wear a helmet. A woman I work with said she and her husband never do because she's under the impression that if she was in a crash she'd be dead no matter what, and the addition of a helmet only makes your corpse look prettier.
Well this guy is alive. What scared the hell out of my wife (aside from the fact that it's just fucking ghoulish) is that someday she might end up being in the ER when something like this came in. And she said she didn't really have much of an idea as to where one would even start with this.
