A few weeks ago, after shelving my books in a new nightstand, I noticed one of them entitled "Semantics and the Philosophy of Language" was sticking out from the index just enough to appear as though I had a book named "SaPo". I actually sat and pondered this for a few moments, and then let it slip away, for I had no idea what "SaPo" meant.

A few days ago I began to read Beckett's "Mallone Dies".

Now, this morning I just happened to look back at that stand with the books in it, and my eye was inexplicably drawn to the little sliver of "Semantics and the Philosophy of Language" that showed.

Sapo is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Saposcat in the above mentioned story I am currently reading.

My life is surely becoming an assemblage of mystic clues cleverly dispersed and disguised as inconsequential, disparate pieces of the normal environment.

I may need to train my thought to mimic Agent Cooper's from Twin Peaks if I hope to wade through it all to some sense of understanding.

It's been happening again.

- Event The First - T'other night, after an unseasonally hot spring day, dreamt I was walking through the woods as snow fell. Wake up, go to window to smoke, see ground completely covered in the white stuff. It hadn't snowed for about a month previous.

- Event The Second - Week ago, talking with boss when suddenly I am compelled to mention the work they were doing in New Orleans when I lived there. Explained to her about how the new mayor envisioned bringing back the old trolley line and how Canal St. was all dug up when I was down there. When she asked if the project was finished, I replied that "it should be by now, I'd think. But who knows?" This morning, turn on radio set to NPR. First words to come out are "Those old trolley lines of 1920's New Orleans have come back." Report went on to describe how they were up and ready for service today.

More events to follow as my life spirals into utter bizarreness.

It's getting weirder...

First: A book on a different subject altogether I recently purchased mentioned Jung's work by name.

Second: Because of inspiration from above mentioned book, a recent purchasing of many books was required. Among these was an Isamov Robot City book which concerns itself with the conundrums that can arise from his Three Laws of Robotics.

So last night I'm reading the latest issue of Esquire (the one with Carmen Electra's ass on the cover) and wouldn't you know, Asimov's Three Laws are mentioned in a tiny ten paragraph article. I can't remember the last time a popular magazine mentioned Asimov, let alone his Three Laws.

I mean, besides Asimov Magazine.

Anyhow I'm certain about it now: I am living in the vivid fantasy of a comatose autistic.
