I read your comics! (That's past tense, not present tense, although they are spelled the same way for some reason. To use it in the present tense would convey an entirely different meaning, as though I am in a constant state of reading your comics; therefore, since there is a finite amount of them, and I have already seen all of them, then the only appropriate usage of the word "read" in this case would be the past tense. So when I say "I read your comics!" it means that I have already done so, and am not currently doing so.)
