In some of the old comics, you can see the little Matt Groening rabbit. What happened? Why are they not here anymore? Same for the fluorescent blue background. The deal, what is it?

It's been a while since the whole thing went down, so here's the story about the Life in Hell characters:

A while back, we were all happy and secure in Stripcreator land, but then one day, a horrible monster came, his teeth gnashing and blood flowing from his mouth, he had evil eyes set directly on the crew of SC.com, wishing only ill will towards us. He came in with fury, focused on his task of disemboweling the very essence of our happiness: Copyrighted characters. With great force and a horrible smile, he summoned a new topic in the General Discussion forum, claiming that the Life in Hell characters were illegal to have here, and thus smote the beloved one-eared rabbit from out sight, by bringing fear into the heart of our great leader, Sir Brad. Brad is a great man, a leader among men, but there are some battles even the greatest warrior must lose, and so it was with this battle that Brad suffered his greatest defeat, and grudgingly removed the rabbit from our lives. He now lives on only in the history books (and in old comics), but he will not be forgotten. Nor will the terrible seige laid upon us. This story will be a part of our history as much as Bazilla's reign of fire, the Plague of the Newbs, and the mighty Orc known as "Fuck" and his rampage of our beloved kingdom.

Oh, and the background was taken down because Brad thought it was a little redundant.

See, D/X is back because I summoned him. He popped out here and there, but some of you will remember that just prior to his grand re-entry into the SC forefront I had D/X's name in my forum comment. any relation to Jengalaya Jones of "Jengalaya Jones and Her Magnanimous Clusterfuckology of Doom" fame?

Fortunately, after starring in Shit Animation Flop of the Decadeâ„¢ Award Winner "What Ever Happened to Robot Jones?", Robot Jones had a brief stint as "Automaton J'onzz" in the DC Comic "Leopards & Werefaggots", followed by a minor role in the Broadway revival of "Go-Bots: Not Just a Transformers Ripoff!" before landing a role as a security guard at the Gary Coleman Center For Anger Management, Mall, and Cobbleshop.

It was during his tenure as a security guard that Robot Jones became addicted to cheap Valvoline alternatives until he died of a disease he acquired while sharing WD-40 intravenously with MechaGodzilla.

He was buried in a small, unmarked compactor in Yuma, Arizona. He is survived by two double-As and a 9-volt.
