Actually, if you have a read through the Diesel Sweeties archives (well worth the effort, a great online strip) you will see that Red Robot, renamed Tobor in our section of the space time continuum, has a variety of facial expressions, generally expressed by his robo-eyebrows. The short series in which he falls in love with a human woman features a lot of those faces.

Yes, I know, I read through all of them. I was planning on adding the eyebrows to help with the expressions, however having his eyes narrow, etc, is no more far fetched than a robot with real eyebrows.
