I've kinda bitten off more than I can chew in my current job.

I'm supposed to be making some fairly complicated automated forms which allow users to follow some steps, fill in some blanks, and create big legal documents. I'm part of the way there, but I am totally stuck on a few details.

Are there any MS Office gurus out there who can offer some advice? Right now what I desperately need is a really good crash course in VBA. Can anyone recommend a good book or website? I bought an expensive book yesterday which has proven to be next to useless (though if I get my head around the basics, it will be useful for more advanced stuff).

Anyway, if any of you have made automated forms in Word, especially ones which extract data from an Excel spreadsheet, I would love a chance to pick your brains if you can spare me some time.

Thanks all. Sorry for the self-indulgent thread.

Damn, if you were dealing with Excel to Access stuff I know a little bit, but Excel to Word has me baffled. I would think googling for tutorials would help, though I'd guess you already tried that.

It was such a waste of everyone’s time and money that even the Tokyo stadium’s rape robots apologized– something they were programmed specifically never to do.

Dexx...I do both quite a bit. Hit me up in IRC, and I'll try and walk you through it.

Oh, and it's easier in Access, I think.

I'm trying a totally new approach, now, storing details in an Excel spreadsheet and importing them into Word.

I still don't know how I'm going to turn whole pages of text on and off, but I suspect that will be with the INCLUDE field.
