Why do we even try to make art if it never shows up on the site???? I cropped some nice pics of hitler for use here, and submitted them, but sheesh, not a word in reply.

I mainly use my art elsewhere, which is why I do it in the first place. Some of it has been added though, and more may go up in the future.

Hey Injokster, these are great! how do you make all them? is there a program you use?

I mainly just use paint, but you'll need photoshop or similar to format anything as a transparent gif.

If you look down a few topics in photoshop valley there's a tutorial I threw together a couple years back on how to do everything.

but dont you have to buy photoshop? i'm not willin to spend 99 dollars on something that i'll only use for one character im making that will hopefully make the forumusers

Try GIMP.  Comes free with Ubuntu.  Which comes free with... well, it just comes free.

You can download the trial version of photoshop and use it for 30 days free. After that to continue you can buy it, un-install and re-install or download a keygen via bit-torrent, depending on your moral leanings.

I don't know what GIMP's like as haven't used it before, but Photoshop requires minimal editing and adds a nice stroke outline to the image.
