When I was actively participating in Stripcreator we had Comic Competitions, Comic Cups and Photoshop Contests. Now there's CC, FTC, BTC, WTF, LOL, LOTR, FUBAR, etc...

I think I worked out that FTC was 'Finish the Comic', and then realized that BTC was probably 'Begin the Comic', but it seemed like there were several more acronyms floating around that I wasn't familiar with.

Could someone more clued in than me write up a quick summary of all the various competitions and what not? It would help old farts like me a lot.

Maybe a FAQ sort of thing that could get pinned to the top of the competition threads?

FTC- Finish This Comic. Contestants add material to finish a layout given them by the contest host.

BTC- Begin This Comic. Same as FTC, excpt that contestants provide a beginning to the layout.

OPC- One Panel Comic. Contestants have to make a comic according to the contest rules in only one panel.

WW- World's Worst. The host gives a theme (world's worst movie, game show, etc.) and contestants make a comic about said theme.

ICC- Instant Comic Contest. Contestants have a short window in which to make entries, usually about 15 minutes from the time the contest starts.

There are others, like Ocean Comics, Mystery Cup, What Are The Rules Of This Contest, and one or to others, but I was never particularly interested in them.
