You know what would be handy?  An RSS or Atom feed for the Comic Competitions forum.  That way, if I don't like the current contest, I don't have to keep checking back to see if it's over yet.  I just sign up for the forum's feed and get automatically notified when there's a new (thread, and therefore a new) contest.

(Please don't read this as a criticism of the actual current contest, which I do like.)
