i'm a big fan of leaving the middle frame of strips blank for the sensual, elongated "comical" pause, is that highly overused/uninspired, a copout?

or is that just something that n00bz should aspire to grow out of? YOU know:

I rarely use dramatic pauses.

Of course, most of my olden-days strips would have been better if we had a way to reduce them to one or two panels, so I'm not a good example. Hell, I did a one panel Cowboy Physics strip, which is Just Wrong.

And I noticed I haven't posted in three days, so I'm trying to catch up.
