One of my friends came on here very briefly a while back and got very discouraged when I told him that all the best ideas he had for comics had already been done before. I tried to convince him to not be so concerned about coming up with something nobody's ever seen before and to just write things that are funny and eventually he'd stumble onto what he was looking for.

He gave up.
