Actually, you should try to save the whole page. Use File -> Save As.

No guarantees though-- it's possible that you simply can't do it.

if you have some software like photoshop or paint shop pro theres an inbuilt capture function that would allow you to snapshot your comic directly into it, a way to cheat if you only have paint is to press the print screen button on your keyboard, then open paint go to edit and click paste as this will take a picture of your entire desktop (you'll have to cut it down to size yourself tho) the reason you cannot simply right click save picture is that it is not actually stored by brad as a picture, I believe he stores each bit of the comic as data(ie the url to which background, characters you use, your dialogue text etc) and then uses php to put all this data back together again to make ya comic.

Neat -- I didn't know Photoshop could do that. How do you use that feature in Photoshop? I have 7.0...

Sorry I think I was wrong about photoshop(ive just reinstalled at home to find out), although I could have sworn blind that my old version 6 could do it at work (although I did have PSP installed as well so may have gotten confused, or it may have been a tool I downloaded that integrated with photoshop) but more often then not I just use the print screen crop technique anyway, as it saves the hassle.

There's a cool little piece of software called "Snagit" that allows you to capture any area of a screen you like and then save it as a JPG, a BMP or print it directly.

It's how I save my strips.

You can download A trial version of Paint Shop Pro 7 -- which works for 30 days I think but definitely includes a good screen capture feature It's a great alternative to the $609 ripoff of Photoshop, too. Somehow pressing the Print Screen is supposed to work too - check the Microsoft Knowledge base for more info.

download PSP7 here

Hope this helps.

Hitting PrintScreen works fine for me. Then I just File/New and paste the image. then I crop it/save it and done. This should work on all Windows versions of Photoshop.
