Rules:

1. Choose at least two themes from each column:

Column A
================
Wine
Fine dining
The theatre
Foibles of the bourgeoisie
Divine paradoxes
Rhetorical fallacies
Opera
Yachting
Classical architecture or sculpture
Horse breeding

Column B
=================
Farting
Gluttony/drunkenness
Adultery/cuckoldry
Effluvia (includes puking)
Grotesquery (e.g., oversized bodies or body parts, persons with animal body parts)
Rioting
Debasement (e.g., insults, pies-in-face)
Ethnic slurs
Blasphemy
Aristocrats getting hurt

2. Avoid bestiality references. Please do not evade this rule by combining "horse breeding" and "adultery," for example.

3. Include at least one instance of any black Lowpass character.

4. Add coarse themes at your pleasure, refined ones at your peril.

5. Entries will be judged Monday morning, 10ish. Sorry if that's too long, but I have a P-90 at home.

Is it an unwritten rule that we stick to 3 panels, or can we use 6?

Come on, I've already figured how to shoehorn the whole list of coarses into 3 panels, even if a balloon might stretch a frame a bit. It shouldn't be that hard.

Now if only I knew what was meant by some of that refined stuff. Oh well, there's always opera.

You can stretch it out to 6 panels if:

* The aristocrats get really, really hurt.

* You include 2 different black Lowpass characters.

Alight already! I'll squeeze it into 3 panels. If Gabe can make room for a donkey, I'm sure I can fit this in.

I don't think singing: Kill the Waaaabit, Kill the Waaabit, from the old Warner Brothers cartoons counts as opera.

Of course not, it's only parody. Now "Kiww da Waaabit, Kiww da Waabit," that's great opera.

But of course the rules to this contest also rule out "Scwew da Wabbit". That's life.

Why must you demand the impossible?

Why you tricky bastard. Saved the comic to an image, messed with it, and chucked it up on the boards.

This could change things. Contests my need new rules.

DUH! I wasn't aware the CC code was a requirement. Can we pretend the CC35 exists on top of Minoan Snake Goddess, where are you? Posted above?

I don't think anyone's gonna strike you down for forgetting it. It's just handy to single out your actual entries from other random comics people feel like leaving through the thread.

I'm judging this contest, and I don't give a Philadelphia handshake about "CC" in the title.

What the hell is a Philadelphia handshake?

I could've said something about cream cheese, but instead I'll say it's a euphemism for "Philadelphia fuck," as in "flying Philadelphia fuck."

Gigantic chicken dick!

I thought it had something to do with dry-fisting, but what you need the massive chicken knob for is beyond me.

Like the title says, unusually serious and meaningful comic. Hopefully it will counteract the disgusting one I made earlier tonight...

In honour of the Prime Minister giving himself a 42% raise, I give you this comic. I know it's set in the US, but Dubya as a character is far more interesting, and none of the pictures look anything like our PM.

Theater, classical sculpture, yachting, adultery, debasement, blasphemy, and aristocrats getting hurt. And I thought I'd have trouble fitting four themes in.

Wow, this one was hard to judge.

I was tempted to give it to Gabe for fine writing and an embarrassment of creativity in achieving the impossible. But he won last time.

I liked NastyPope's, but it got DQ'd on a slight technicality: Being sodomized by a large flightless bird = bestiality.

Nods also to the phrases "Jesus Crackwhore Christ," "While fisting the Dutchess of York," and "I wanna beat her high round ass with a fist full of car antennas." Also to the notion of adulterizing someone's spouse on the Pieta. All are deserving of victory.

But the prize goes to the richest, most aromatic abrogation of taste:

What can I say? What could anyone say? Now, Kaufman, you have won two of the last four contests, and if there's one thing we hate, it's a dynasty, so you'll have to make an effort to be less funny.

Oh sure, blame it on me. Best as I can tell, it was those judges' fault. But tell you what... I can almost guarantee I won't win #36.
