I remember when I was growing up and there were others of my kind. Small ones with dirty faces. Old ones with wrinkly ones. Male and female, all living together in this windless barren place.
But oh how happy we were! Happy to feel each other's joy and pain. Happy to divert each others' rivulets of emotion over our psyche's index finger, just as if it were our own.
God, how I wish I wouldn't have killed them all just to be able to associate the pronoun "I" with land formations.
