One of my favorite webcomics is filthylies.net. Brandon's comic is about two roommates, one straight and cynical, the other gay and naive, and their companion animal, beefsteak.
It's a bit in the vein of penny arcade or roguerobot.com or tucker max.

Except for penny arcade, being a web comic doesn't pay well, so brandon was excited recently when he got a gig doing a webcomic for a major celebrity.
