I've been alternating between despair and hope. So far it's been hard to get into one of these studies, and I kind of need to do one to be able to afford the travel to do more of them.
Long term, I might need to find some kind of job I can do in the time off between studies. Jobs like that are hard to come by. Or I might need to find a job and just bag the studies. But for now,
studies it is. I screen for one in chicago tomorrow. I don't know if I'm well enough to get in, but they are hard up for people and called me in on short notice.
and the place in pittsburgh, oops no kansas, just called and gave me their web site. so there's like 6 places i can screen, so i should be able to do at least a few studies per year.
and pay the rent and the utilities and keep gas in my car. that's all i really need right now - to be able to pay the rent.
My actual wealth is all the free stuff i have online. Like being able to make comics.
