I got home last night. It didn't even rain. 3 hours to drive through chicago, three more hours from northern indiana to home.
Nobody broke in while i was gone, but the magical cleaning elves must be on strike, place is still trashed. Houseplant died, too much water or not enough sun.
The mice are healthy though. Now I have an extra week to do nothing in, although my study check will be only about half what I expected,
and I can't do more studies there without a doctor's ok.
It's a setback, but not enough of one to drive me to find a real job.
