I've been back from the mountains for 10 days and havent made any comics yet, so I guess I might as well start back in.
Today, after staying up online past dawn, I celebrated turning 48 by going to the state fair ($8)where I had a peach cider slushy ($3) and fried stuff.
My entrepreneurial-idea-of-the-moment-that-i'll-never-follow-up-on is deep-fried sushi on a stick. The sign said "slushy" and i misread it.
I saw an elephant kick a football, and some white tigers, and the usual sheep and cows and ribbon-winning vegetables.
(I still don't know the origin of that meme.)

meanwhile, i paid some bills and will go to the club tonight.
