	yesterday's penguin comic got a record 4 coments so i figured i'd make it a series.


	when i was in colorado i was hanging out with mountain marmots and ground squirrels prairie dogs and chipmunks, so today i was googling to see if what's involved in buying squirrels for my 'hood

	so far i haven't found much. probably illegal, and $300 for a squirrel a bit out of my range. lynxes ($3000) and bobcats ($2000) for sale oh my.

A squirrel would be good. Instead of putting a pool in your home you'd only have to plant some trees.

One site said that there are 300 kinds of squirrels. Where I live it's all one kind, the common gray squirrel, and occasionally a chipmunk. Traveling, I've noticed some places have black squirrels or white squirrels, and in Scotland there's red squirrels with the tufted ears, so I though it would be fun to introduce new kinds of squirrels around here, but also I realize uninformed actions like that can cause catastrophes, and also it involves planning and competence and followthrough, things i don't have.
