I've lived here going on three years. Nice little apartment among the mansions, $425/mo, can't complain.
Today I noticed, again, that when I fill the bathtub it's nice and hot at first, but as it fills more cold water goes into the water heater so it comes out not as hot, + if i overfill it it's lukewarm
one thing i really hate about all the places i do studies is none of them have bathtubs.
so for once i got out of the tub, went to the basement, turned the water heater up a few notches, and now it's hot no matter how deep i run it.
it'll cost an extra $5 or $10 a month but worth it, and in january there's no such thing as waste heat.
i leave the computer, tv, lights on all the time, because it's 100% efficient, because i'm running electric heat anyway.
off to the club. at trader joe's i found a nice bouquet of pink tulips i'll give to one of the drag queens.
