I had a pretty good day today. I wrote a first draft of an amicus brief in the Leugue of Women Voters voter ID case.
The other brief i'm writing is going painfully slow. yesterday the court granted me a two week extension. i spend hours playing solitaire before i can face knocking out a paragraph or two.
it's been snowing today,and it's so cold there's ice on the windows. i didnt go outside all day - the closest i came to snow was defrosting the freezer.
i probly could built a snowman just from that.
i had some pea soup and a sourdough roll and some defrosted corn, but i'm ready for a break so i'll either surf /ck/ or make some food.
