This is my second attempt at making this comic. The first time, the space heater here in the attic tripped the circuit breaker in the power strip and shut down the computer.
It's snowing, and I don't use the attic during the winter because it's cold up here.
That ;//// is because a spider crawled across my keyboard.
I woke up this morning to find that my laptop had fallen onto the space heater, and ;/////////. was fried, literally.
Today is the 5th. My brief isn't due till the 9th. I hadn't backed up my latest draft. I already asked for one extension, can't really ask for another.
I guess this is the kick in the pants I need to actually write it now. I could be happy I wasn't overcome by fumes. If it weren't snowing, I could go back to Fry's and get another one.
