48 hours. 1500 miles. asbury park new jersey and back. didn't get in.haven't hardly slept, a few naps in the car.
we got set up - they were screening dozens of people for 4 slots, a waste of time and around $200. but we sort of liked the place aside from that. might be fun in summer.
took mom out for a donut.
slept 12 hours
today i got back, but my credit card still wasn't here. i applied for and got a loan, and returned the rental car, and got downtown and paid my taxes $3050 so they dont take the house. took bus home.
now i can sleep. tomorrow maybe they'll call us to go to kansas city. so can't drink tonight. and i'm out of decaf.
