3 am email from the guy who was supposed to pay $500 to rent the house. he flaked out. however, he did return the expensive tools he had borrowed.
so we went over, got the tools and supplies, went to the hardware store. jake got circuit breakers, a cap for the gas pipe,and some keys. i bought a fuji apple tree and a plum tree, half price.
good meeting with one of the tenants. that was my day so far.
it turns out this weekend is when my town has its science fiction convention, and i forgot all about it till now. if i left now i might make the tail end of the barfleet party
