it's that time of year again. with two weeks to go, we are waiting on 14 opinions. expect some monday.
the big news will probably comne on the last possible day - that's the decision about whether Obamacare is unconstitutional. Stay tuned, court fans.

The elgin case, announced last week, is turning out ot be bigger news than expected. It's insider baseball stuff, hard to explain to lay-people.
Elgin was fired from a federal gig because he didnt register for the draft. He says that's sexist,and mean. So he wants to sue.

The case, right now, isn't about whther he's right or wrong. It's about which court he can sue in,and whether he has to go through a pointless adminstrative hearing first.
The court, 6-3, by justice thomas, said yes; he can only go through the pointless hearing first, then file in DC court.
