	i just spent 3 days and $250 on a trip to north dakota i could have avoided with a phone call.


	8 buses, one hotel, 2 indian restaurants, 2 apple gins, 2 feet of snow.


	i'm not even upset with myself. a learning experience. always call first.


	i knew that, but i forgot. i'm a phoneophobe.


	monday i'll call kalamazoo and kansas city.


	meanwhile i got outbid on the $8K house offer.
