i'm in chicago, having a Paneric cup of coffee. I went to world market and got hello kitty candy. I'm going to take the 6 pm bus for 15 instead of the next bus fo $30. It's snowing, but otherwise nice
weather for chicago and i've been wanting to check out this neighborhood. my feet hurt, i'm tired, my bags are heavy, but i'll stash the extra laundry bag somewhere and wander around for awhile.
i did not get into the nebraska study. missed it by -that- much. 2 out of 3 EKGs were ok, the 3rd one put me over. i have mentally drafted the nastygram - they did not tell us there would be 3 ekg's
at the second screening. i walked 6 miles to the bus station, got to omaha, took a taxi to catch my bus, which was then an hour late as we waited outside in 26 degrees. the wifi on the bus worked so
i had an ok trip. 5 days of buses, trains, a bike, 3 taxis, more buses, one hotel, $200ish.
tonight i'm going to get off the bus, get on my bike,and go to the club before going home. still have $150 cash, should be no problem. chicago on a saturday is a ghost town.
