saturday went pretty well. i went back down to gencon in the afternoon, took my computer, made a few pages of notes for a brief i'm working on.
after that i stopped by the all night gay diner where a dancer i used to know was performing in drag - havent seen her in drag before but not surprised.
nothing happened sunday so no comic
then i went over to the varsity club, where i heard they had dancers now. one guy i like, brian, was there, but just as the dj. 2 dancers, friendly but not hot,and one ugly old guy balder than i am.
(i am not bald but my hair is thinning in ways i don't like)
i think i'll have some decaf and putter around the garden for awhile.
but it ended up being a fun night, hanging out on the back patio. i either knew people or knew their boyfriends or we talked about star trek or reddit, and i encouraged a couple of shy girls to go tip
the dancers. had 3 drinks total, and 3 shots of espresso earlier, so i was up till dawn, wrote some more on the brief. feeling it now, but there's supposed to be a post-gencon 'dead dog' party 2nite.
