i cheated a bit and had two cups of coffee to stay awake long enough to get to waukegan. the doc says i'll live. slight fever.
so now i'm crashed out in the $66 hotel room with the king sized bed, and i'll probably go straight to st louis a day early (so i should call and change that time.)
the st louis place is under its 4th set of management after the last group went bankrupt last year. it's not very well run, but i'll see how thing are there now, even if i dont get in the $4000 study.
they'll probably say my back is too hairy to have a morphine patch on it for the study. or my labs coud be messed up from being sick.
