My screening today went ok. I'll know in a couple days, and if I got in I come back Sunday for 5 days.
I'm sort of headed home, but slowly> i napped for 2 hours this morning but am loopy from coffee and lack of sleep. Met a cute barista. Had a late breakfast at a diner that's been around since 1934.
350 miles to get home.
Toast is still $1, same as 20 years ago when I lived here. I'm killing time so I can hit a club in Illinois tonight. But I should probably just get on the road.
It always feels a little strange passing through a town I used to live in. I won't drive by my old house.
