so yesterday i left at noon instead of midnight, but i got as far as dallas. parked at mcdonalds, now i'm at starbucks, a few more hours to austin, found the hotel on the map.
so about 800 miles so far, 2-300 to go.
friday we had a memorial service for my aunt. 11 of the 13 cousins were there, 31 relatives total
saturday a zoo out near the lbj ranch, plus we eat out 3 times a day. then we saw 1000s of bats in austin; they live under a bridge and come out at dusk.
tomorrow people have early flights and i'll check out austin then start driving home. today i wrote a memo and
booked a screening for a $28K study in phoenix that i won't get into, for next week.
