today is thursday, so i'm a few days behind and might do a catchup comic next. i had a busy day.
the mexican mechanic presbyterianed me down to 12,000 for the house, so we closed on that today. i wrote a deed and filled out the disclosure forms and the lead paint disclaimer and we got stuff
notarized and filed. i put the 12K in my credit union, paid $900 in bills, went to the post office, got groceries, bought shoes, started xmas shopping, went to the club but calico wasn't there so came
home with more groceries.sent emails. made a list. made a comic. i have fries in the oven, i made an omelette and a mushroom broccoli green curry and real coffee.
brian got ripped off, bought a $700 van with a bad title, so we are looking into that. he's staying here longer than planned because he sold his car when he bought the van.
brian's a former roommate, the mooch, who shows up now and then; he's one of my study buddies. i still can't find work; it's slow and i'm too old.
i almost forgot i have fries in the oven. i don't multi-task well.

70 water bill
35 aldi - heaters, gifts, snacks
$30 thrift stores, steel toes boots, orange converse, an I F Stone book, a little pot, to steam veggies in, stuff like that.
